Pursuit of Wonder
Приєднався 12 лют 2017
Fostering reflection through powerful ideas and stories.
Wonder is the feeling of curiosity and appreciation inspired by something beautiful, inexplicable, or unfamiliar. At Pursuit of Wonder, we create work with the aim of producing that feeling.
Through video essays, short stories, guided experiences, books, and more, we explore a wide range of topics related to philosophy, psychology, science, literature, well-being, and more. We believe in facing the challenges and complexities of life head-on, and in doing so, we strive to inspire a reconnection with child-like wonder and a comfort with the uncertainty and absurdity of existence.

Ignorance is bliss
I think my depression has anxiety now
It's easy become muslim and you will understand everything about this subject
Oh my fauci!
"Moving Forward" is not necessary, just moving will take us somewhere. my quote
nothing is a man made concept, is nothing really nothing? what determains nothing is nothing how do we know there was nothint befor the universe?
Biological will almost always be luck but not your effort. Oh god definitely not. This video itself only meant to show you that if you're a simple thinker you will always think that luck dictates everything. Luck itself is just what you created in your mind because you're apart of this complex universe. Yes you're one of all of us. You're not alone. But the truth is that you barely even do anything to achieve whatever. If you feel that you sleep enough 8 hours a day you better believe you're not doing even 30%.
Wow - this was me for 45 years - now I have cancer. Don't make the same mistake!
Thank you
Please. Talk slower.
It's No Illusion when you have none..
Don't ever change how you tell stories... there's more depth without explanation; a never ending story without a defined meaning. Perfection without confinement. Thank you for all of your beautiful work.
every person enlightened is another poor bastard thrown out of the eden that is blissful ignorance
Philosophy is like fly paper. 😂
This reminds me of my toddler asking questions.
Remember guys cool videos always gets before going bed
Don't. Make. My. Overthinking. Worse.
Dostoevsky was an Orthodox Christian. He did not believe that Christianity has set us up to fail, rather that over-intellectualization and the abandonment of Christianity is the problem.
He was a sexist though. If men are sexist (discriminating towards 50% of the world's population) I am not a fan. Because how wise are you if you can't bring up basic empathy... He wrote stuff like this: "a woman smells most perfectly when she does not smell at all, just as her deeds are said to smell sweetest when they are unnoticed and unheard”
Nothing is not something, so nothing is not coming from somewhere...
Thank you 🙏
the vincent van gogh of philosophy
The qs that has kept me up for since I was 12 😶
That was insanely eye opening thank you
Basically, the more you know about things the less you realize you know about things. Therefore, you’re more realistic. Those who are say ignorance is bliss type of people think they’re good at everything
Nobody is perfect, and I'm nobody.
the greatest youtuber of all time
This is a memorable experience itself for free!
It's not that God is dead. It's humanity's collective faith in God that's dead which is leading to the cascade of problems the species is experiencing now.
It’s MANKIND, not human kind. Think for a moment. The reason for “kind”next to “man” is that it includes women and children. So, human and kind are redundant. Silly, PC nonsense. But, who cares if someone wants to virtue signal their leftist, woke-speak. Lol
🤯
The nothingness eventually became aware of itself and created thw universe to understand its self.
Ive been caught in a paradoxical loop at the DMV. Love that place
What I find hilariously heartbreaking is that....I've always been inherently pessimistic but no matter in how many ways I think of something might/would go wrong, the reality of it always always always excels it. So, in a way my heart breaks over and over again when I think of the ways things could go wrong and then when it actually goes wrong in worst possible way. So yeah, guess nothing helps neither optimism nor pessimism
I read Walden. I wouldn't say that the guy was advocating being a loser. He just wanted to cut out the crap and spend his life on other things.
If you tell people your scared of the country collapsing in my country people will say I'm crazy. It makes me feel alone. It's late. I'm scared. I'm alone. Maybe it's because it's so dark that I feel so bad. I'm so paranoid about the system I'm about to face and I'm scared I can't survive it. I have nobody who understands me around me. I know they're out there I just can't talk to them.
Idk man homies voice sounds too young to be this knowledgeable
As for “this statement is false” you can simply look at false the same way it’s meant when someone would say “false king” or “false profit”. Meaning the statement is a sham or that the statement is no statement at all.
There was never nothing.
DAMM IT. AM A ROBOT
Nothing in nature is perfect? They know other nature that we know
This is a mind virus take
Holy fuck. I’m now more certain and uncertain of myself than I have ever been before
I just coined this phrase if it's already out there well whatever. I like to live outside the binary. There's just so much more out there once you get past the black & white. Paradoxes have always tickled my mind. I was obsessed with solving as many as possible at 1 point in my life. Now I'm a little more aged and I do believe that paradoxes themselves are an answer they are not a question. Kind of feels weird to say it out loud.
Funny how every choice in your led you to writing that for my reading pleasure
Huh? Call the huh cat?
imagine a game of monopoly where one player got all the money, all the get out of jail cards and all the houses and hotels before a dice was rolled and all the other players got nothing. well for most of us that is the game we are playing. did i forget to mention that the dice are loaded in his favor as well.
